Free Clinics of Michigan and its member free clinics are 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organizations that rely on the generosity of individuals and volunteers to operate.

Consider making a monetary donation or donating your time and skills with a local free clinic.  Medical as well as clerical volunteers are in constant demand.  Additionally, many free clinics seek assistance from social workers and counselors.

                                                                       Medical and Dental Providers are always in high demand! 

Physical donations of medical and office supplies are also a great help to many of our member free clinics.  If you have these items you would like to donate, contact your local free clinic or the administrative offices.


Volunteer with your Local Free Clinic


Free Clinics are operated through the generosity of individuals donating not only their monetary gifts but also their time and talents.  A variety of people are needed to successfully run a clinic.  The types of people available often dictate the services a clinic can provide.  Below are some typical jobs that people fill at free clinics.

Time Commitment


Time commitments vary by clinic site and position but typical require at least one four-hour shift each month.  Both day and evening hours are often available.
